- Reframing challenges to make opportunities seem possible.
On a personal note, my mission is to support women’s educational and economic empowerment. Toward this aim, I co-founded and served as co-director of the Center for Women & Business whose mission it is to develop female leaders, engage key decision-makers in formulating policies that support women’s careers, and help corporations leverage the full talent of their female workforce.
Through my scholarship as a researcher and speaking engagements, I contribute to the national conversation on the status of women’s careers. Additional research expertise and interests include entrepreneurship, creativity, issues of diversity and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
